Papierfabrik Palm GmbH & Co. KG is building the world's largest and fastest plant for the production of corrugated base paper with low grammages in Aalen. VKK Standardkessel is supplying the largest shell boilers ever built for this purpose. The two steam generators each have an output of 70 tonnes per hour for generating steam at an operating pressure of 21 bar and 300°C. VKK supplies the boilers with equipment including the firing system.
