Submerged arc welder (m/f/d) - Köthen

To strengthen our team
Your tasks:
- Welding according to welding instructions and subsequent visual inspection of the seam
- Transport of the components to the corresponding workstations (automatic submerged arc welding machines) using radio-controlled or floor-controlled overhead cranes
- Aligning/positioning welded parts
- (Visual) inspection of the seam zone area
- Establishing weldability when tolerances are exceeded (grinding, MAG support position, etc.)
- Set up welding head (weld pool fuse if required)
- Provision of filler materials (wire and powder)
- Correctly repair weld seam defects after consultation with the foreman/welding engineer
- Cleaning the weld seams and related documentation
- Cut off end crater plates and grind seam ends cleanly
- Maintenance, care and, if necessary, repair of machines
Your profile:
- Successfully completed vocational training in the metalworking trade (e.g. as a construction mechanic, plant mechanic or similar)
- Several years of practical work experience desirable
- existing qualification to operate overhead cranes
- preferably valid welder certificates in submerged arc welding and MAG
- Electric arc gouging with carbon electrode or autogenous
- Ability to integrate into an existing team
- Independent working style and high quality awareness
- High level of commitment and willingness to work in shifts
