Supply Chain & Industrial performance Director (m/f/d)
To improve co-operation between the Babcock Wanson Group's four production plants in Germany, France, Italy and Norway.
Your tasks:
Global definition and management of the local implementation of the industrial strategy in line with the company's objectives.
- Coordinate the industrial activities with the directors of the divisions and business units (BU).
- Identify the investment requirements.
- Definition of standards for production equipment and coordination with the design office through to involvement in detailed planning.
- Manage industrial transformation projects, including studies, implementation and maintenance standards for new equipment and industrial facilities.
- Supporting the Group's plants in the transition to the production of solutions for the decarbonisation of industry.
- Participate in the Group's transformation projects.
Define industrial KPI targets (production, quality, safety, methods, maintenance) that are aligned with the group's ambitions and policies, including maintenance, quality and inventory management.
- Observe technological developments: Manufacturing processes, automation options, digitalisation, etc.
- Manage the optimisation of production, maintenance and supply chain processes
- Promoting and implementing continuous improvement initiatives (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.) and organising the exchange of best practices between plants.
- Support the optimisation of work schedules and ensure that product design and production capacities are aligned.
Safeguarding the Group's industrial activities in terms of quality, safety and the environment
- Identify and manage industrial risks.
- Propose improvement plans.
- Ensure compliance with standards.
Your profile:
- At least 10 years proven experience as Supply Chain & Industrial Performance Lead or in equivalent management positions in the industrial sector in an international environment,
- Sound knowledge of supply chain management, industrial performance principles and production processes.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills with a focus on local teams in the context of cross-functional projects in an international context.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
- Outstanding interpersonal and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
- Mastery of Lean and Six Sigma methods and performance management tools with expertise in continuous improvement and industrial project management.
- Good command of digital tools and industrial management software.
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, production, supply chain management or a related field.
- Business fluent in German and English (min. C1 level)
- Willingness to travel
