To strengthen our team in Köthen
Your tasks:
- Independent processing of export orders (air, sea and land freight)
for our internationally manufactured boiler systems and boiler components - Creation, checking and management of export documents
(e.g. freight documents, certificates of origin, customs and export documentation) - Coordination and communication with customers, freight forwarders, shipping companies, customs authorities
and internal departments (e.g. production, dispatch, purchasing) - Monitoring of deadlines, shipment tracking
and proactive resolution of deviations and complaints - Ensuring compliance with export controls, Incoterms and international regulations
- Optimisation of shipping processes
- Processing of letters of credit
- Expansion to include planning, organisation and coordination of special transports,
incl. authorisations, route planning with our tram sports partners
Your profile:
- Completed training as a forwarding and logistics services clerk
or comparable qualification - Several years of professional experience in the export or forwarding sector, ideally in an international environment
- Good knowledge of customs and Incoterms
- Confident handling of forwarding or ERP systems
- Good written and spoken German and English; other foreign languages are an advantage
- Structured, independent and service-orientated way of working and ability to work in a team
- Confident handling of MS Office
- Experience with heavy and special transports or project logistics
